Trip Equipment List
General Information:
- Scoutmaster will notify scouts whether Class A or Class B uniform is to be worn to camp.
- It's the scout's responsibility to insure all required and appropriate seasonal items are brought to camp.
- All items should be permanently marked with the scout's name and "Troop 201"
- Flashlight and rain gear should be accessible at the top of the pack
- For backpacking trips, all personal gear must be stowed in or attached to the backpack: hands must be free to carry troop gear.
Required Items:
- Backpack
- Smaller day pack for day hikes
- Sleeping bag
- Ground cloth
- Poncho or other rain gear
- Jacket, sweater or hooded sweatshirt
- Extra boots or shoes
- Two changes of underwear
- Three pair of socks
- Two Troop 201 t-shirts
- Long pants
- Handkerchief or tissues
- Flashlight and spare batteries
- Scout Handbook, pen, and pad
- Compass
- Wash kit (soap, toothbrush, etc.)
- Towel
- Knife, fork and spoon
- Mess kit
- Plastic bags
- Refillable water bottle or canteen
- First aid kit
- Matches, fire-starting materials ***

Warm Weather Camping:
- Short pants

- Hooded sweatshirt
